Our Mini Businesses

We created our own mini businesses as our topic this term. Each business made their own product to sell at the Christmas Craft Fayre. We worked fantastically well in our groups and everybody contributed to the process. We really enjoyed being mini entrepreneurs and made lots of sales at the fayre itself.

Baton Twirling Success

Congratulations to Hailie for her medal winning performance in her baton twirling competition recently. A great achievement!

 Working Hard in P5/6

P5/6 Blog

We have 22 pupils, 6 P5 and 16 P6. Our teacher is Mr. Tait. Our pupil councillors are Kai, Adam and Lauren.  We like art, P.E and French. We like them because art is fun, P.E keeps us fit and healthy and French teaches us a new language. We like to look out for each other.

We have done the rainforest as our first topic and we have really enjoying it.

Art in P5/6

We get art on a Monday. We get Mrs Harris every second week. We have been making tribal masks in class, because our topic is the rainforest and some of the people wear masks.

We have enjoyed making the masks, it was great fun putting on different designs.

French in P5/6

On a Monday afternoon we do French. We are learning greetings, numbers, alphabet, colours, class room objects, days of the week and months of the year.Throughout the year we will have homework on French when needed. It is nice to learn other languages so you can communicate with others.

 Assemblies

We get assemblies on Fridays at 1:30-2:00.

Miss Parker or Miss Richardson takes the assemblies.

Assemblies are useful because they gather everyone together and see what every one has achieved.

We have enjoyed P3/4s assembly so far because it had loads of facts and it told us about their topic.

Our assemblies are on the 14th of December and the 14th of June.
